  1. I love your writing! It’s so vivid! And I so agree with you! There’s just something about holding a book, a real, live book, that makes reading a far better experience. I’ll be devastated if they take libraries away from us, since you can find everything you need online these days and it’s assumed no one cares for them anymore. A library is like a second home to me. Thanks for sharing.

    • Thank you for this comment anag7, I sometimes feel like the thing I do has less and less substance, quite literally. I imagine what writing was like for Charlotte Bronte, the quill and the ink pot and the sputtering candle. It all feels so much more fleeting now, but maybe that is the lesson.
